SANS 457 / 753 / 754
Markings to be applied to products conforming to SANS 457, 753 or 754 (controlling all aspects of the product, not only treatment penetration and retention):
Place SANS code number (eg. 457 F) directly below the symbol. See table below - black “Markings for SANS)”
For any hazard class (H2 to H6) SANS 457-2 is for Softwood and 457-3 for Hardwood SANS 753 and 754 are for telephone and transmission poles.
